Hi!
Anyone interested in exploring Iceland by bike?
Where:
Iceland - ring road + interior (aobut 1800-2000 km)
What to see:
Blue Lagoon, Landmannalaugar, Geysir, Gullfoss, Detifoss,Aksja, bridge btw
North-American and Europen continental shelf plates ...
When:
August 2009
How long:
3-4weeks
The journey will include biking on gravel roads and dirt roads (approx.
50%), crossing numerous cold fords, carrying food sometimes for a few
days, wild-camping, winds of more than 100km/h, rains ...

Iceland 8-22 August

Will be setting off from Alex Camping ground near the airport morning of the 8th August for a month. Looking at Kjolur or possibly Landmannalaugar - through
the middle to the Wesfjords to the top then down the west coast. Mostly bike with a bit bus. Company along the way is always welcome.
